Halo 3 ODST: E3 2009 Trailer

Straight from E3: 2009. This trailer gives us all a first look at what Halo 3: ODST will be like."The year is 2552. The Covenant control the city of New Mombasa. They are searching for something beneath its darkened streets. You are an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. Your orders: Stay alive, meet up with your scattered squad, and escape the embattled city. Stop the Covenant and we just might win this war." The game with have new weapons like the Halo 1 style Pistol and the Silenced SMG. It will have a new gameplay mode called Firefight that looks similar to the Gears of War 2 Horde Mode. It will be 4 player co-op over Xbox Live and System Link. The expansion will also feature new achievements that will allow to you to get Recon armor. It will also have a multiplayer beta of Halo: Reach. Three new Halo 3 maps will come with it along with the Heroic, Legendary, and Mythic Map Pack along with Cold Storage. The game is set to be released 9/22/09. Halo 3: ODST and everything related to it belong strictly to Microsoft and Bungie.

this takes place right around the time when you were master chief in halo 2 and trying to take down the scarab. If you recall, after chief took down the scarab sargent johnson picked him up in a pelican and brought him back to the frigate where commander keys was. Thats when they notice the covenant carrier was enegizing for a slipspace launch....meanwhile, the odsts where coming down in their drops pods and a lot of them got wiped out from the slipsapce ruption.....i know a lot :)
