  • The KPRC radio announcer (Will Sinclair) at 1:55 says "tomorrow, the 101st anniversary of Lincoln's assassination." That gives you the exact date this documentary was produced as April, 1966.

  • ah, excellent, thanks!

  • KPRC the good old days before Newsweek hijacked the station and egos ruined it.

  • Interesting seeing everything done over the phone and 2 way radio. Seems so primitive compared to today.

  • At 2:13, there's a "Bush" billboard. Looks like it says "Bush for Congress." Could that mean George H.W. Bush is running for his first of what would be two terms as Congressman?

  • Going by a few clues, I'm sure the primary footag is late '64 or early '65.

  • he was fine man. first reporter i worked with in1976
