Thousands of people had turned out on the streets of Denver, Colorado demanding an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

One activist told Al Jazeera's Rosiland Jordan why he travelled 2,000km to make his voice heard.

just like in WW2 NO americans wanted to go to war for europe... so the USA sent a boat carrying wepons into german water... when it sank, we started the war

why do we want war? cause its the only way a flawed system can survive by feeding off what we plunder in other countries

@TheRidersChoice the euro is stronger than every other countries currency except the british pound... they have almost no gun crime because guns are illegal in most countries, and there cops arnt fat because tazers are also illegal... a criminal in europe has to be strong, and so do the cops... however the USA is a great place to live especially for its huge size and millions of people to take care of, its really easy for the british to control there small island

@wildboy789789 wars today are about prevention instead of reaction, sorry if you want to wait around for another 9/11 but I would rather do everything in my power to prevent it and I know that I would die if needed so it does not happen again. I would also hope you value all life as equal so saving innocent lives over there from evil regimes outweighs our troops sacrifices
