A roaring performance in the public center of Marrakesh of two Englishmen sharing their music with the citizens. All got a treat out of this song.

Music unites us all. Led Zeppelin helped open doors to let us feel the culture through their music for Western listeners- and around the world. The mix was one of the most successful collaborations in their musical pantheon along with their original love of American Blues.

  • I bet those people have no idea how lucky they are

  • @ochopintre87, We might all consider that. Would you regard what someone from somewhere else experienced as amazing without understanding their culture? Only in part. I see excited people and curious people. Led Zeppelin was curious and daring. I feel lucky for that.

  • Awesome video!! Just wish it had not been shortened, Because months back, it was @ least a 10 min. video!! Can't get enough of these two, and I loved it!

  • @mkzen777, this is directly from the DVD. I have not shortened it. Possibly you are thinking of another version on another page? (Oh, I said, "page")

  • @ochopintre87 I'm from Marrakech and trust me... THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA OF HOW LUCKY THEY ARE!! in that country good music listeners are so rare...

  • This fully contains the energy that was alive and well at the end of the 90's. What a blessing! fantastic!

♥ Thank you for sharing. ♥

  • I would give anything to have been there

  • Page and Plant have houses in Morocco, due to their love of that land and culture. Achilles Last Stand is about their first journey into the land and their love of the Atlas mountains. It made me wonder first time I saw it if they did this on a regular basis. The crowd was huge here. I call this song Page & Plant's answer to "The Immigrant Song". ;D

  • @hitmanhatim, Comment removed. Please apply SPAM filter rather than engage jerks. Thank you for keeping discourse reasonably constructive.

  • @Cebaszojic, removed the jerk. Thanks for a higher level of discourse. Comments on a page are easily as interesting as the feature itself. Just a microcosm of ourselves.
