CLAN (Scottish Metal, Rough Demo)

Hey, This is are first demo for are new musical project Clan....Which started out as myself and a few mates jamming mostly soft acoustic stuff, but we decided to metal it up a bit...

As proud Scots and metal fans, we decided to combine the two. And be a full on proper Scottish metal band. Although there are plenty of metal bands from Scotland. Not many have a scottish theme or sound. Where as that is exactly what we plan to do with Clan...

This song is still very rough, it needs touched up a bit and still need to add vocals. We should have a couple of other rough demos up soon and hopefully fully finished songs.

So if you are into metal and/or all things Scottish then JOIN THE CLAN!!!

loved the song and story im english but even i feel the utter disgrace of this being part scottish i will always wonder will it be better or worse i hope it will be better one day

@shrubby1989 Thanks for the comment. Well the Jacobite rebellions were not really a Scotland/England thing. It was really a Scottish civil war that got a bit out of hand (to say the least) There were many reasons for it, the main being royalty and religion, but really it was just a bloody affair that should not of happend. I don't like to sit and hate or blame one side or another (which is what alot of people who take part in the whole sectarian thing like to do) I prefer to pay respect.

@Hollenvaen Thanks for the comment, These songs will be finished and there will be more to come. The problem we are having at the moment is, we record our own songs, they're homemade demos, And some of our gear has crapped out on us.

So as soon as we replace the broken gear, we will be srtaight back to work finishing the songs and making more. (should be within the next few weeks or a month at the latest)

@ClanScottishMetal Look up "Calgacus" and "Caledonians" on Wikipedia. Then look up "Battle of Mons Graupius" and you'll know what I'm talking about. It dates back to the first century A. D. when the Roman Empire first came into contact with the peoples of what's now central & northern Scotland. There's decent English people and then there's a lot of assholes who cling to that Germanic/Nordic Anglo-Saxon master race crap. Oh well...
