Pokémon Crystal Shuckle Solo Run Extra 10: Ruins of Alph

In this extra, we explore the Ruins of Alph, which is west of Violet City. In the ruins, you'll have to solve puzzles by picking up each piece and drop them where they belong. Every time you solve a puzzle, a certain variety of Unown will appear in the ruins, each symbolizing letters of the alphabet.. If you can catch at least 3 different kinds of Unown, go and visit the small house by the ruins to receive the Unown Dex, which will keep track of all the different Unown, you've caught.
- To open the passage of the first chamber, use an Escape Rope and then walk back in.
- To open the second, use Flash
- To open the third, have a Water Stone in you inventory.
- To open the final chamber, have Ho-oh in the front of your party.

Dropping down into those pits of the secret chambers, you'll see a bunch of Unown patterns on the floor, which shows a message. Can you tell what they're trying to say? It's nothing all that special, but it can be fun solving mysteries.

Also, don't forget to search that small patch of grass in between the ruins for some Natu or Smeargle while you have the chance.

Very good guide. Understood that if you catch 3 you get the dex, but is there any point in catching all Unowns in this game?

i have silver and i was just checking what the differences are between the two and what happens if you go into the 2nd room with the berries and fall down that hole instead of the 1st rooms hole
