Lt. Col. Joseph W. Hoffler, Ret., author of Promotion: Denied

Promotion: Denied (Hertford Free Press, ISBN 0-9794686-0-4) author Lt. Col. Joseph W. Hoffler, Ret., spent more than two decades in the Air Force and was commander of the Security Police Squadron at the U. S. Air Force Academy. Hoffler holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri. He is the president and CEO of Hoffler & Associates Counseling Services and Hertford Free Press. Hoffler is a widower and has two adult children and a grandson, Joseph. He currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colo., where he is a deacon in his church.
