In the summer the curtain will fall on the Layer Road ground and the U's will move to the new 'Colchester Community Stadium'
Gone, but never forgotten.

best match i ever saw at layer road was when we were 4-1 down to bristol rovers and came back to win 5-4 in 1998

It cost you 5 mil to teardown that shithole... Should have called us at Southend, we would have done it for free.
