We should be using the corn based plastic since it rapidly decomposes, at least use it for disposable plastics. We are destroying our home and their is no other like it that we can move to. We literally live in a self regulating space ship and we are destroying it. Every other "space ship" that we know of will NOT support us. All anyone thinks about is short term profit. If nobody was profiting off of this, do you think we would be doing it?

corn based plastic is equally bad for the environment it is one of the leading causes of water pollution the pesticides used in corn farming are affecting us too. We should recycle existing plastic.

Take your own bags to the store. Take your own cup to the coffee shop. Humans are the cause of the 6th extinction, but we may as well try to be less polluting. And, yeah, stop popping out kids.

We should all just go back to glass! I live on the ocean in Mexico and we pick up plastic off the beaches down here....every single day. It's gross...and just horrific.
