@pinkfloyddwc What are you talking about? I said Glock GAVE UP, which is a fact. My question is: Why? When you look at Hamilton's onboard, you can see that in that crucial corner, he shifts properly (short, despite having the right tyres). When Timo had wrong tyres AND wrong driving (gears/lines), you have to wonder WHY... At Spa and Monza, he proved earlier that year that he is a true RAIN MASTER. He is no inexperienced slow sloppy loser. He is an excellent driver and Brazil '08 was a disaster.
@jakubkrcma .... why is everybody so stupid about this incident... if anything, he THREATENED hamilton's chances by not switching to rain tires... he took a risk and stayed out and almost took the title away from hamilton.. he never GAVE it to him... if he were to give it to him he'd just pit for rain tires
@jakubkrcma Once again, if he tried defending, he would have slithered off track! On the Brazilian gp track, he struggled to drive at full throttle even on the banked straight..He had a serious issue, mate!
In the real Hamilton onboard video, you can clearly see that Glock did not defend his position in ANY way. He simply literally LET three cars (incl. LAPPED) pass him just before the LAST corner of the race! He just gave up. The ONLY question is: WHY? Plus, his time was 1:44, not 1:48. This simulation does not PROVE anything. Felipe Massa's race engineer said: "...before Glock threw in the towel. Thanks for that!". Watch the 2010 Brazilian Grand Prix Qualifying Build Up for an interview with him.
