    My favorite film ever was released 80 years ago today (3/7/13). It may be a case of arrested development (this Monster Kid is 62), but the American Film Institute also considers it one of the greatest 100 films ever made in the USA. Being a Kong fan, I've enjoyed all the remakes (while Fay Wray only screamed in horror, Jessica Lange developed sympathy with the big ape, and Naomi Watts completely fleshed out

    her emotional attachments with Kong). I also like Japan's Kongs, cartoons, videos, etc.
