This excellent outline of neoconservatism comes from the 2006 film, "Hoodwinked: The Myth of Free Trade" and features University of Regina professor, Shadia Drury. (The audio isn't great - sorry about that!)

  • Everybody benefits from lower taxes! What is going on in these communists' heads?:)

    Long live to capitalism!

  • Excellent vid!

  • Neo-conservatism and social conservatism / religion doesn't go hand in hand at all. Bush and co don't represent neo-conservatism for a lot of people. I know of many socially liberal and secular neo-conservatives. This video is inaccurate in many respects.

  • Shadia Drury - Mixes up term neo-liberalism (lasse-faire economics) and liberalism (lasse-faire society)...typical mistake buying into the meme of equating an economic system to a social system. One wonders if she was ever trained in rhetoric, unlikely given modern education system; rhetoric would have defended her against "neuro-linguistic programming" (NLP) techniques developed by the Yankees to manipulate ignorant population. NLP=Assume our premise and no matter the option you pick, we win.
