I just wrote this a couple of nights ago.

Friends of my younger days flash through my mind
We were so crazy back then
I wonder now is it friends that I miss
Or do I just want to get crazy again
But Im settled down Im an old man now

Looking ahead is a hard thing to do
And those who do usually see gloom
I dont know whats coming I dont hear the drumming
I walk to the beat of my own special tune
Im ready for anything any tomorrow brings
