  • The choreography used by the Ellsworth Show Choir very closely follows the choreography of the Broadway show.

  • I know this is posted a little bit later....... but The video is very off and speeds things up. We also have to be fast to get the show in because there is a time limit. I am just wondering if you have been in show choir before, because these kids work very hard. It probably looks easy to you, and you think you can do better, but this is hard work. We got two 95's and a 70...... and the 70 was because the judge didn't like our show choice...... this has happened before with other show choirs

  • Melchior = ew. and why is everything so much faster? The guys in "My Junk" were off. The Girls were good, except solos in some places. "Dark" soloist started a little off, but got better. :) "The Mirror-Blue Night" Soloists... ew. "I Believe" was good, just faster then usual. Overall okay, but you really have to try when attempting stuff as heavy as Spring Awakening.

  • Melchior = ew.

  • To continue, I realize these are high schoolers, and this is show choir, not an actual production, but have high expectations when groups attempt shows like Spring Awakening. It wasn't bad, but it certainly could have been better.

  • I thought your group sounded pretty good as an ensemble, and some of your visual elements were really cool. Some of the soloists weren't as polished as I was hoping. Your Melchior, by this video, sang through his nose--he may or may not have sounded better live. Personally, I don't think his voice, from what I'm hearing, is best served portraying Melchior. The Wendla at points sounded nice, but at other points didn't have strong enough breath support to sustain the notes.

  • I totally thought that the night show would be MDI and Ellsworth. It probably would have been if they didn't go over so much.

  • I couldn't tell until you mentioned it.... I thought the performance was just weird.... I like parts of it though... some of the choreography is nice.

  • somethings messed up with the recording cause it keeps speeding up and slowing down....... trust me i know...... i was there.

  • true stearns(unified harmonies) was better (:

  • Well I went to this school and we're very much known for our fine arts program, the 2 main directors are both very talented, and so is the pianist, Collin. This show choir has also one nationals at Disney World on many occasions, sooo. I wouldn't be saying negative things about this wonderful group.
