@osdeus777 I'ts really a matter of personal preference. I prefer Eric's version because I heard it and loved it long before I heard Lalah's cover of this song. Eric's version is the original and in my opinion it is BETTER and BETTER than Lalah's version!!!

Rarely do I listen to ANYONE sing a song after Lalah has sung it and feel anything but deflated. And i listened all the way oon this..the whole things...Eric Benet sings the shit outta this...really tho'...First off NOBODY sings a song better than Lalah..ok?...so fageddaboutit...it aint gonna be better than Lalah's...I'm not judging it on that standard...I'm judging it on the standard that Eric Benet sings his AZZ off by any standrad. As Rev. C.L. Franklin said about Aretha "a stone singer"

Heard this at the weekend for the first time!

I was at a dance in south London and had to go and ask the DJ the name of this track!

Although I have some of Eric's music this one seems to have slipped me!

I heard this one first and although I love Lalah's cut this one is slightly funkier, so the brothjer gets the vote.Just don't let him sing Lalah's Let It Go!!

People, I did a test by playing them both together simultainously and let me tell you, it sounds like they've made the track together!!

Pretty spooky mind you, because they cue in and out at the correct times when they start to ad lib in the last 2 minutes!

Now, if the record companies where smart, they would relase the track with the pair of them, cueing in and out for the verses, then let it rain with closing of the track with the pair! Trust me, it sounds SUH-WEEET!!

i also heard this version b4 lalah's and i prefer this version i think he vocally does a BETTER and BETTER only cos he puts more in2 irt personally,

the whole album that this is taken from is excellent get it any way u can..lol
