Beautiful! The great thing about a true pipe organ is that one can actually feel the vibrations in one's bones body which enhanceds the whole listening experience.
Whilst I enjoy the music and musician, I felt there was not enough contrast between the sound of the swell and great manuals. It also sounded like a 16' reed was used on the manuals at one stage - too deep. Keep playing the wonderful organ. Wayne from Australia.
Stunning! absolutely STUNNING!!!! This is who I want to take lessons from! What I liked best was that (judging by the sound of thousands applauding) it sounded as though EVERYONE stayed in the church to hear the postlude unlike other churches where most people either leave, or stand around talking (loudly in some cases) right through the postlude and yes bombarde 1701a I concede. The Rodgers sounded really good, but it isn't a Walker. If anyone knows where to contact Dr. Haywood, pls say so.
This, for lack of a more fitting phrase, "Is BUCK!"
I wonder if this arrangement is for sale anywhere? If anyone knows please post information or perhaps the originator could message me details......Truly inspiring arrangement, done with dignity
