Disclaimer - The Canadian Redcross would like me to state that this is video was not produced for them or by them. Obviously hockey hits a large demographic in Canada. Furthermore, the pride Canadian feel for the grit and toughness of the game is worn on Canadian's sleeves. Excitement of the commercial is built over the duration. Only at the closing frames is the hook developed in connecting the mini statement of hockey and the message of the commercial; that being, to donate blood.

  • Thanks for your insight! - yes i did make the video. I agree with you, perhaps an introduction to the concept with the revelation to the hook at the end.

  • The song is When Worlds Collide by Powerman 5000

  • i agree

  • the idea was really good! i think you waited too long though to introduce the idea of donating blood. by the end i was thinking more along the lines of some CBC promo for leading up to the stanley cup finals. Maybe bring in donating blood earlier on? Im assuming you made the video sorry if you didn't!
