@preo2 If you really like to know about how Uncle Tom's back then fuctioned,, I'd suggest for you to read The Autobiography of Malcolm X, written by Malcolm X and Alex Haley. Malcolm was actually a very good friend of Muhammad,until Muhammad betrayed him. To this day, he is extremely sorry for betraying Malcolm like that. Malcolm also expresses his anger to the Uncle Tom's in that day such as Floyd Patterson.

@preo2 Louis accepted everything the white man ordered him, because the whites back then didn't want another Jack Johnson.. When Ali came out as a Muslim, Patterson said that he was going to get the title back for America as no Muslim should have it. Also he was living in a white area, where he desperately tried to adapt. After a long time, when his children were called monkey's and the bigots out there made clear he didn't belong there, he finally left tearful saying ''he tried''.

@preo2 I don't know if Ali said that, but the great Joe Louis was an Uncle Tom. It is not a term trying to express your hatred towards someone. Ali liked Joe, but Joe Louis was an Uncle Tom. Same with Patterson and some other champions.
