If I wanted a performance bike I'd get a full size...meanwhile my Brompton is the perfect folding bike for a commuter like me =)
I would like to try out this bike though...see if it really is as fast as people say...

I prefer the cadenza. Nothing is as fast or has more gearing range.

im gonna need one of these folding bikes real soon. can anybody give me some advice on which one is better. i dont really have much $ so it would have to be for around $300. Please help!

Do keep in mind, though, that not every part of the US requires a helmet; in some states, such as New Jersey, a helmet is not mandatory for riders 17 yrs. and above (I might be wrong about this, but do check the laws in your state to be sure).
I do see your point though. Whoever made this video primarily aimed it for riders who are responsible enough to ride safely. He/she probably didn't factor in first-time riders who are watching this video as well.
