@hartjhjackass its on ps1 but ps2 has backward compitability so yes it goes on ps2 as well

@DLDAcoustics ofcourse sega would have made another controller with a second analog stick, like sega always did this kindof stuff, we had a Sega genesis controller model 2 and a sega saturn controller model 2, all the model 2's were better than the model 1's with more buttons, so dreamcast would've got that too. and maybe san andreas would've been released with two discs then sorry for my horrible english though

@jmanlingling Dreamcast could only handle GTA 3 and Vice City, the GD-ROM doesn't have enough storage capacity for San Andreas. Also the controller lacks a second analog stick, which GTA 3 and Vice City didn't really utilize (you could change into fps mode and look around with that), but SA uses it to rotate the camera.

@jmanlingling Given that the dreamcast was about as powerful as a ps2 (if not exact in power) yes it could have.

I didn't know they had this for Dreamcast. I owned a Dreamcast. Anyway, what's this guy talking about, "no longer a third person-three dimensional type view?" Was GTA or GTA II ever in third person viewpoint?

the dreamcast version is the newest\lastest version of gta 2. but is it has any new stuff or something over the pc and ps1 version?

@hartjhjackass Its on PS1

doe's gta 2 go on ps2

@GodBlessedVideo2 no kidding gd-roms only held 1.2gb and the game was 3.6 so it would have been on 3 to 4 disc. not many of those games laying around
i think da dreamcast could have handled gta 3 vice city and hell maybe sanandras
