This is a new Breed high class bird appears from traditional champagne glasses. This beautiful hand made blown glass drinking birds appear in Czesch Republic and these come complete with a real glass. Very elegant and great as a gift. Beautiful hypnotic swaying motion.

These "heat engine" craft is not a hip. They are more expensive than plastic birds. They come in 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large) with 6 different colours (Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Purple and Yellow).

In US, you can get these hand made birds from Lada'sfinds store in ebay.

In Australia, I am thinking of selling these products nationally around in June as there may be some people who might be interested in this ornament. Just give me a buzz... :)

  • It's highly volatile methylene chloride inside. I broke one once on a desk and by the time I could get to an eye wash station 2 meters away the stuff was evaporated. This is a nice bird design; is it Czech?

  • @chemopia Yes, it is. But I bought it from US. It is much cheaper to buy directly from manufacture but you have to buy minimum of a dazon.

  • Yes I bought one in Czech but the cat smashed it.I want another but not the cheep looking one.

  • @onthecuttingedge2005 definitely, if you are a huge idiot and want to endanger yourself and your customers you should fill these with mercury.

  • What size is this "Glass drinking bird" because there are 3 kind of sizes?

this one also moving very smooth.

  • No, I donot think so. Mercury is lesser volatile than alcohol and all works upon vapor condensation due to cooling at the beak.

  • replace the Alcohol with liquid Mercury, you will get more torque action.
