What do LSD induced visual trails look like? You know, when you wave your hand in front of you after taking acid, and you perceive multiple hands... Watch these 10 movies, and leave a comment to say which one best corresponds to your experience...

  • @farley92569 : I wrote a matlab program to do this, detecting motion at each frame.

  • @marco00ve : it is informative to know that none of these movies corresponded to your experience. Would you mind commenting further, on the linked survey, and letting me know what to do to match your experience better?

@ all of you who visit this page : if none of these movies resembles in any way your experience, please do fill out the survey anyway, and let me know how to make the simulations better. It won't take you much time, but will be extremely useful to me.

    Thank you!

  • i also have hppd and mines probably 8 as well

  • Mine is an 8 constantly due to HPPD... Literally all the time. The strange thing is that the tracers, or "trails" are the least of my problems. Anyone who has used psychedelics will know the visual pseudo-hallucinations that I am talking about. It is a rare condition, and in my case was brought on by long term abuse of psychedelics (specifically 2C-E, MDMA, LSD, and DMT). However, HPPD or being "perma-fried" is a very real thing. I do not condone use, but if you do use, at least start small!!!

  • @theartfulbadger1 yeah mine too. you described it.

  • after several viewings- and it having been probably 40 yrs since i experienced the effect- i would have to say #9.it was more of a transparent neon like rainbow slow moving effect. and probably one of the best and few overall pleasant things of the experience.i still remember it tho it isnt something that you ever forget. kinda like seeing the northern lites it stays with you! cool video btw.

  • I would say for me it was 10 at the start of it metabolizing, then 8, followed by 4. Then it went back to 10. Might I say, Men In Black on acid... is fucking mind blowing.

  • Ha ha I see that everyday. This has been happening to me for about two months and I went to see a euro ophthalmologist about it and he said that it's "palinopsia" and it might or might not go away. I'm supposed to go back in six months to see if it actually goes away lol.

  • It depended on how good the acid was.

  • took couple of hits lsd night , theres a resurgence of Lsd where i live , its all over the place , and i love it!

  • What are the mathematical algorithms used to produce this video?
