I got the Throwdown cookbook and the recipe in here for Mat's fish and chips is definitely NOT this recipe....he said his dad would kill him if he salted before frying...yet in the book it says to salt before frying (for his recipe) and in the book he uses beer. Hmm.

@oneillbrown They are totally two different chefs with two totally different styles of cooking so of course you can't. Bobby doesn't cook garbage. Eat at his restaurant...its pretty good.
