The Kubotan (sometimes erroneously spelled as Kubaton or Kobutan) self-defense keychain is a close-quarter self-defense weapon developed by Soke Kubota Takayuki. It is essentially a derivation of the yawara (柔?) stick, usually 5.5 inches (14 cm) long and 0.56 inch (1.5 cm) in diameter, slightly thicker or the same size as a marker pen. Attached with a keyring for convenience and concealment, the Kubotan appears as an innocuous key fob to the untrained eye.

You can do damage with a carrot. After 9/11, self-defense classes show how to use ordinary objects as weapons, i.e. a rolled up magazine has a sharp hard point, While you're unlikely to have a carrot on the airplane, you may have one after grocery shopping. Not only can you poke someone's eye out, you can also use it like a steel whip baton (Google it) because the carrot is flexible. Hold the tip end and whip.

    So don't mock the carrot.

  • @lolo59912 no bro not at all. someone cracks you in the temple with that bad boy your going down.

  • I have a close family friend who trains his women's self defence class in these and showed my father and I some stuff. They are for real, seriously effective if you know how to handle it and it's a very easy weapon to teach people to handle who might not be physically strong or have much other training Anyone who doubts what a kubotan can do should let his a female in his life buy one and put 4 weeks into learning how to handle it and hit them

And when you wake up tell me how much it didn't hurt

  • @pwnageAAXAApker Rofl. Wrote it in quite the douche like style : D

  • why not use your fists? they don't cost $7.50...

  • I had no idea what these things are, even though my aunt (a jailer) has always carried one around. Now that I know, that makes her about a thousand times cooler, no doubt she can beat you down with a tiny plastic stick. But *ORANGE*? Really? I thought they came in the same assortment of colors as the old model T cars: black.

  • @TEMUJINARTS Its the internet. Which hardly represents me in real life. Of course I could rephrase my original reply to not sound like a complete idiot.

After years of gaming you start growing an own internet personality.

  • @sweffe96 u have been doing martial arts for years....u sure...? your attitude, speach and demeanor does not fit or match...work on this. and pls stop representing in this negative fashion

  • @lolo59912 A joke? I've been doing martial arts for years, I would like to see you defeat me while I have a kubotan, you'll realize how fucking hard those can hit. Trust me; they work.

  • @lolo59912 no it's not a joke but it looks like a carved carrot
