Ticker only shows up for people with a certain level of account activity. If you don't see ticker, it's probably because you don't use Facebook a lot, so there's not enough content to make ticker useful to you. If you like how active you are on Facebook right now, you don't need to change anything. But if you'd like to be more active, you can:

Add people you know well as friends, Discover social apps, and Connect with Facebook Pages you like

@gloriarandvideo Thanks. Well, I recently unfriended about 50 people so now I'm down to 88 friends... I guess I should go add more people because I liked the happening now sidebar.

@MrJackanthony Actually, I don't really miss it anymore. ;-) Now, I'm preoccupied with trying to figure out if google+ is worthwhile. Plan to write a blog article about it soon. Have you used it yet?

@gloriarandvideo awww, it grew on you! Blatant betrayal :) I don't think I would miss it but we could co-exist, happening now and I. They have already tweaked. I remember scowling at the latest profile layout and new chat system, but it works amazing for me now. Just gotta give em a chance. Do keep your videos coming. Cheers
