  • I have a lot of bowling ball but the maniac still my favorite ball and it's better to use it on a medium oil lane.

P.S: The price still good for this ball !So much economy for an awesome ball.

    Thanks videoballreviews(c) !

  • to be completely honest i'd say thats more like 280 rev's because bill oneill was somewhere around 410 i think and that's not even close

  • It depends on what you mean by power. Higher ball speeds will produce more power along with revs. The bowler in the vid looks to be around 15-16mph with about 350-400 revs on the ball. It hits well and keeps the pins low to the deck.

  • Depends on the length and the volume of oil. Most sport shots are flat at about 3:1 or 5:1 across the pattern at varying lengths.

House shots also vary in length but can be anywhere from 8:1 to 13:1 volume of oil in the track area. A house shot you don't have to make your own hold and develop the lane. A sport shot you do.

Generally get a ball that would work well on Med-Heavy oil and then determine your drilling and the line you want to play. Most house shots fall under the medium cat

  • The Maniac is "supposed" to be smooth and readable, ...so a little more power wouldn't make it what it is supposed to do, right?

  • Thanks for the review, but he's got a very weak ball reaction. A little more power on this ball would be nice to see.

  • i got a question, the lane conditions at my bowling ally are somewhere between house shot and sports athletic. What that be considerd heavy ofr medium oil? thanks

  • Nice.
