Πρόσθεσε και την πυρπόληση απο τον Δημήτριο Παπανικολή την νύχτα της 27 Μαϊου/ 8 Ιουνίου 1821 του τουρκικού Δικρότου (2 deck ship of the line) Moving Mountain το οποίο βρισκόταν αγκυροβολημένο στη Ερεσσό της Λέσβου. Επιτυχία η οποία οδήγησε σε μαζική χρήση πυρπολικών από τους Ελληνικούς στόλους!
