@markgreene1100 Thank you Mark for this post please feel free to contact. I have Ken's entire archive in my cellar in Munich which I received from Mrs neate before her death in 2006. Ken passed away in 1997 and I have a website in his honour
Mr Neate was my teacher in Munich, and it's great to have him here. There must be so many recordings. It would be great to have them here as well. I do remember he had a double album of art songs in Italy- some type of historic documentation. I will try to find some recordings he made for me. Added to his voice and technique, his languages were impeccable.
Roberto.
I once had a lovely LP of Kenneth Neate, [lent to an aspiring tenor and lost]. So does anyone have him singing the "Lamento de Federico?" I'd love to hear it and his other recordings again. He's a fine singer. I think he was Joan Sutherland's first Edgardo at Covent Garden.
I am so grateful to have the opportunity to hear Ken Neate's superb, touching performance in Fanciulla. Thank you for posting this and the final scene.

Timbro bellissimo voce possente, scelto bene
poco conosciuto forse sotto valutato, grazie di avermi dato l'opportunità di sentirlo.
