Hey cool video! Went flying in my friends Cirrus the other day...great plane! I am curious what kind of camera system you are using though. I am looking into buying one soon.

@Varney1488 No you only need to have the written exam done by the time you are ready to take your check-ride. It's a good idea to get into a ground school and take it as soon as possible though so it's out of the way. If you have more questions just ask your instructor, they should know the answer to most any question you have regarding flying.

Hey Davidolberding, I'm about to start training for my flight license. I know a great deal about aviation. I have flown before also. But, do you have to take the FAA exam BEFORE the actual instruction?

@HungryGreeny Yes, most likely on auto. Autopilot flies most of the time enroute in a high-performance plane such as this.
