Check out my book: Lessons from Madame Chic: The Top 20 Things I Learned While Living in Paris http://amzn.to/tVrjhP
also on Kindle: http://amzn.to/ti78uQ and Nook: http://bit.ly/vfedKa

I love my Kindle. It has revolutionized the way I read. For my absolute favorite books (by authors I collect) I buy the hard copy for my library- for everything else I get it on the Kindle.

A few things I forgot to mention in the video:

Classic books are often either free or very inexpensive (I'm talking 89 cents!)

Most books are heavily discounted when bought on the kindle (so after time it pays for itself).

You can read it in the sunlight just like a normal book.

There is no glare like that of a computer screen.

Long battery life.

Stores up to 3,500 books.

A nightlight is built into the cover so you can read at night without disturbing anyone.

There are several different kinds of Kindles. I recommend getting the one with 3G so you can download new books no matter where you are. Kindles range from $114 to $379.

  • Is this the wifi version? May I ask how it has held up over the past year?

  • @Triangulove Yes it is the wifi version- I know so many more kindle versions have come out since I did this review! It has held up great the past year. There is a little crack in the plastic because I dropped it, but everything still works great. I also traveled to Europe with it and it held up well. I still love my kindle!

  • I am getting this tomorrow hopefully it will get me into reading more cause I know I love reading off the internet so much better cuz u dont have to worry about flipping the pages etc lol thanks for the review

  • An interesting idea

How can you use the Internet to create a special place?

“You should click this” because this video shows what one person can do to say, “Thank you.” Listen to what she says about how her husband’s gift changed her opinion about ebooks and ebook readers.

She took INITIATIVE to create her website and this review on Youtube.
