There's very few bands who could cover this track and do it justice. Anathema being, well, "one of the few". Forgive the pun.

lilabajrami, seriously, I appreciate you love your Floyd - I do too - give Anathema a fair crack. They're decent, and they've done this very tastefully.

IMHO, they are the only band I believe hold a candle to the Floyd.

In summary: Greatest band of today covering the greatest band of all time.

@Thraxwhirl Mmm, yeah. "Greatest band of today covering the greatest band of all time." sums it up, and I think it's how the Anathema boys themselves would feel proud to read it. It's a cover version intended NOT to upstage, but rather to be a homage.

NO ONE can better the Floyd, - no one(not even Anathema) - but it's nice to see a band as awesome as Anathema show their respect in this manner.

And ofc, it's utterly fuckin' brilliant... 'cos Anathema ARE ALWAYS utterly fucking brilliant. :)

Dropping in to listen to this track. Can't believe it's been 10 months.

Also taken the opportunity to thumbs UP every comment made by lilabajrami. Yes UP!

Why? Because I believe everyone has the right to offer a counter opinion, and should NOT be silenced for it. Just as surely as I DO believe Anathema's covers of Floyd tracks are of quality, lilabajrami should NOT be silenced via thumbs down for disagreeing.

I know Anathema themselves would endorse his/her right to be heard.

Then the big bomb that filled my heart with PURE RELAXATION was their latest (Hindsight) effort..I consider them legends because in every genre they tried they always excelled..I read an interview with them once..They said that they are always trying new genres and they are never doing the same thing many times so they can not be judged as a metal band or a rock band...They just provide excellent music and that's all..By they way listen to (Camel-Watching the Bobbins)...I think you will like it.

For the second time I agree with you man....Pink Floyd is really an institution...They had really set the new dimensions of sensational rock music...But for Anathema there are reasons...The guys changed the genre many times....First, these guys started as a doom metal band (Crestfallen, PentecostIII)....Then they started trying a different mood like Heavy metal....By the time they evolved to more light rock music (Which is SO OBVIOUS in A Natural Disaster)....
