It is just like the old Dick Emery joke in which the old vicar says "There are two things I hate in this world, religious intolerance and bloody methodists." It is no comment on the idea of the Dutch being tolerant - that in itself is open to debate.

@BogartvandeWiet We staan niet (alleen) bekend als tolerant vanwege de sex en de wiet, maar ook vanwege de open manier waarop we al eeuwen met andere culturen omgaan. Al blijkt dat achteraf vooral zijn gegaan om witte mensen behorend tot een beperkte groep Abrahamistische religies.

@zarghroth klopt inderdaad, hij spreekt zich zelf 2 keer tegen. Wij staan bekend als tolerant in de wereld vanwege de sex en de wiet, en hij is zelf intolerant tegenover andere culturen.

You people miss the joke. He says he hates people who are intolerant of other cultures, and the dutch - who are 'known' for being tolerant (this can be discussed). He's basically contradicting himself in the same sentence
