Hunter A4294307 RESCUED!!!

Hunter is a seven year old male Rottweiler who was confiscated on June 14th from the same house of horrors where Princess was starved to death. Weighing approximately seventy pounds when brought to the Baldwin Park shelter this poor boy is a bit underweight. He walks okay on leash, but he has clearly been neglected if not outright abused and is going to need training and rehabilitation. With the right amount of love and care we thing Hunter will make a good indoor pet for an experienced dog owner living in a private home.

if there was a way that you guys could send him to me in British Columbia, Canada...i will glady take him in a heart beat and provide for him a safe, loving and comfortable forever home with 10 acres of land to protect and roam free on, no other pets and no children..my husband i both LOVE rottweilers and have taken a liking gto Hunter...how can we find more info on him???

Baldwin Park Shelter We are working out the final details of getting Hunter to Kunzang and Tara's babies - (Thank you Kunzang!!!). Please rest assured that Hunter is 100 percent safe - and from here on in it's just a matter of logistics in getting Hunter to the great life he richly deserves in Arizona. We really feel blessed to have the support of all of you!

rumour has it there has been a rescue for hunter! as much as i wish it was with me...im praying to god that this is true...ive tried all weekend and with no luck to find him a rescue or a way here to canada to me..if anyone can confirm this...please let me know...i tried calling them again but couldnt get through and i am working at the moment!

@Mrskaren54 thank you so much for your generous offer!! i would love to take you up on it, however...money is not the issue for me, nor is travel expenses..i work with autistic children and cannot just up and leave on such short notice, for i am the only one who works with them...i wouldvbe had to pre book the time off weeks ago, believe me..ive still been trying to find a temp to replace me for a few days with no luck! im worried..im at a loss..been fightin for hunter all weekend :(

as of today, monday, i spent all weekend emailing and calling every single rottie rescue organizations i could find online, i phoned animal rights groups, animal advocate groups etc etc etc...and only received back two replies so far, yet noone is willing to offer any advice or assistance in helping me save hunter..i am willing to cover any and all costs that may arise for hunter, that is not the problem...getting to the states is..i cannot leave work on such short notice

im at a loss :(

"We have been given another 3 days to find Hunter a home. He is safe until Monday- but the urgency remains. We need to find a qualified 501c3 rescue who will sponsor this dog who has been subjected to unimaginable abuse." I will continue to try find out and keep you posted.

This was on Facebook as of Yesterday Friday 24, 2011. Lots of people want him you would think they would extend a couple of week to give people time to do this right.
