  • OK, some of you have no clue about vintage-style instruments. The guitar in question has low output (4.5K) vintage pickups, a floating bridge, and a Bigsby. It's not designed to sustain like a solid or semi-solid guitar. Additionally, if you pay attention to my playing, I'm muting the strings with my right hand to intentionally get that staccato effect. Cranking the amp to 11 is not going to provide the tone I was after. What else? Oh, bends being slightly pitchy? I learned that from Neil Young.

  • Just stumbled across this as I have a Marshall 1974 in my possession and it is the sweetest sounding amp I have ever possessed - shame it's not quite loud enough to compete with live drummers and none of the louder Marshall Amps quite compete for sweetness and power - Anyway - That was some beautifully played guitar - 'Really enjoyed it - Thank You!

  • Yeah, it's a great amp for sure. You can hook another 1 x 12 cab (Marshall makes one that matches the combo). That should give you quite a bit of extra punch.

  • I love that =O

    Good job ! 5/5 !

    What this song ?

  • Thanks! The song is one of my original comps called "Das Bild (The Photograph)."

  • I heard it Speaking to me and Growling at me. Excellent sound. Nothing like a Gretsch 6120...Simply the best.

  • That's the best compliment I've ever had. Thanks a million.
