  • @UltimateSurvivalTips Please do the LHR I just got this knive for Christmas and I really like it. I have tried to look up reviews and there is like 1 or 2. I think you do the best reviews of knives ive seen so far keep up the good work! --Jacob.

  • @fishfreak1994 Hey Jacob... this is helpful. Yeah... man, the LHR is an incredible knife isn't it. Okay... you convinced me. I have a few weeks anyway until Gerber can get me the new Bear Grylls stuff... I'll review the LHR next. I wouldn't mind incorporating your comments if you would like to send me some bullet points of the pros and cons from your perspective... no pressure... but I encourage audience participation... ;) Have a great day friend! ~ David

  • Brilliant video! Are you going to be doing the Parang as well?

  • @TheKr1sC0Kr1ng13 Hey... thanks for the encouragement! Haa, haa... yeah, I'm not sure what's next... I've got the Gerber: Combat, Covert, LHR, Silver Trident and the cool little Gerber Guardian Backup sitting on my shelf... all screaming for me to review them... but Bear Grylls reviews are in high demand... so... I will seriously consider the Parang and other BG gear next though. Thanks for the feedback! Blessings - David

  • Better to get this knife or the similar Gerber Gator?

  • Wow people actually buy knives with the name Bear Grylls? The guy is a lying bastard who doesnt actually show survival techniques but just lies to look good. If you really believe him look up Bearwiki. I for one would never buy a knife from a fag. I feel sorry for all of you who have been suckered into his bullshit.

  • Nice review, except one thing. Why does every review I see mention a 1/2" serrated blade? You state that at 2:08 in the video. The correct statement would be that it has a "half serrated blade." Not a half inch. Looks like a cool knife though, I will have to pick one up. Thanks for the review!

  • @powerhousephg Good question / comment... Ultimately a survival knife is any knife that you have with you, in a crisis, when you need it. Although it is a glorified folding knife... the fact that it is a nice size, easy to carry all the time and includes Mr. Grylls pocket survival guide are enough reasons to, at least loosely, throw it into the survival knife category. The thumb studs for one-handed opening are also a nice touch is something should happen to your other hand.

  • not sure what makes it a survival knife. generally, survival knives have multiple functions; a hollowed handle for storage, a fire steel attachment, etc. if this is a survival knife, then so is every other pocket knife.

  • @LifeMissionStudio Sounds good too, I'll be sure to check that out too!
