Dr. Richard Koszarski describes his research into the history of film and television production in New York and New Jersey, which he sees as regionally distinct from Hollywood filmmaking.

Dr. Koszarski is Editor-in-Chief of Film History: An International Journal, and the author of Hollywood on the Hudson: Film and Television in New York from Griffith to Sarnoff (Rutgers University Press) and Fort Lee: The Film Town (Indiana University Press).
