propulsion without moving parts. Uses High voltage DC to push against the air to produce thrust.

  • I got banned by Beamshipcaptain for copying and pasting the Wikipedia entry for "Ionocraft". The Wiki entry explains how the ionocraft (his "Beamship") has absolutely NOTHING to do with 'antigravity', and is simply an ion wind generator.

  • 99.99% of visible space is filled with interplanetary mediums such as plasma. Plasma is ionized gas, and is electromagnetic by nature. NASA has in fact built EHD thrusters that use this same princible, and they work in space.

  • electrohydrodynamic thruster's propel fluids by accelerating the particles using electricity. So they work in air and water using newtons 3rd law by shooting the water or air one direction which shoots the thrusters in the other. So it cannot work in space, though it's pretty cool having no moving parts.

  • thats not an ehd an ehd reduces or eliminated drag and shockwaves an also accelerates movement along the surface of the wing and they work underwater or in oil a lifter cannot

  • "Anti gravity is nothing more than creating a sun."

Well, if it's THAT simple ...

You have 'experience with nuclear fusion'? Where was that then? CERN, or were you scorched by an H-bomb?

  • actually if you knew anything you would realize Beamshipcaptain actually knows what hes talking about. Anti gravity is nothing more than creating a sun. And believe it or not high voltage has alot to do with it , but that is if you have experience with nuclear fusion..which I bet you dont (YES IT IS REAL)

  • oh? could u build one and hit it with microwaves?
