Chicago Tax Day Tea Party - April 15, 2009

Coverage of the Chicago Tea Party at the Federal Plaza in Chicago, Illinois. Republicans, Democrats and Independents came together on Tax Day to protest high taxes, out of control spending, government takeovers and bailouts.

The income tax in IL is being raised by 50%. The sales tax here in Cook County is already 11.25%. The politicians in this state make the Somali pirates look reasonable.

Yes, we chanted "USA, USA" today and waved our American flags because we love our country.

The Star Spangled Banner was performed by Ted Nugent at today's Tea Party at the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas.

Why not ask all patriots to v isit D.C. on the 4th? Remember the million man march? How about the Million pitchfork carrying patriot march? This is the last stand for human freedom. If the U.S. sinks into socalism it will be the end of freedom in the weekest of countries around the world. Socialism and despotism will rise in all the corners of the globe and we will be to weak to do anything about it. Put on your thinking caps folks, foresee just where this current government is taking us.
