Buick recently invited auto writers to San Diego to check out the new 2011 Buick Regal. I had a chance to drive both the naturally aspirated and turbo models. A written review will accompany this piece, but for now enjoy the video!

  • No 2.0L Turbos are available until Fall 2010. Only 2.4L 182hp non-turbos are now available. I don't know how this guy got his hand on a Turbo.

  • @juscurious these cars were at a media event hosted by gm in san diego.

  • Great overview. I have a single question regarding the LED eyebrow in the headlights, Are they available in the non-turbo models?

  • @ebleyes I believe all models have the "eyebrows" as standard equipment. i have an e-mail in my gm contacts to confirm. i am not sure what your budget and or driving style is like, but there is a world of difference between the base and turbo models, especially on any hilly roads. combining the turbo and the adjustable suspension make for a very nice sedan that is comfortable on rough roads but can firm up to take advantage of the twisties.

  • @ebleyes And I have confirmed it with GM. All Regals have the "eyebrows."

  • @ebleyes Well, things might not be that simple. I have heard again from my GM contact Jason Laird that the eyebrows are turbo only. Is that going to be my final answer? Not sure.

  • This guys says "uhh" WAY too much!

  • I'd like to raise a question. I owned a BMW 3 series which I traded for the new Regal, which IMO is much nicer than my BMW was. It had hard plastic. It had faux wood trim, it had reduced head room, it had a felt lined glove box, and it had a 6 cyl making ONLY 184 HORSEPOWER; and it was a heavier too ! Why is it ok for BMW to turn out that crap, but it's not okay for Buick??? That's a double standard. And a 4 cyl making the same HP as a BMW 6 cyl is quite an accomplishment that's overlooked.

  • Opel Insignia

  • @GayUOPXBoy10 I made a simple comment about another vehicle that should be worth looking at. You don't have to be a fucking asshole. Are you frustrated because you drive a buick, or your gay?

  • This makes my 98 Buick Regal look Really outdated!

  • LOVE the wood trim!

  • give an opel insignia to ghetto people, and this is the result

  • @gurlsingerfan

At least the profits go to GM. What is the difference in buying a BMW or Mercedes? At least GM is a American company and assembles alot of cars here.

  • @gurlsingerfan UNTIL production switches to a Canadian plant in 2011. Most of the parts for GM are made in Mexico. This will stimulate the North American Economy.

  • @PorscheORviper This is NOT an American car. As is stated in the video clip here, this is a German Opel, with Buick trim. This does not make it a bad car, but it will not create jobs in American car plants to buy it, and it much of the money will go to Germany.

  • @BMWDriverC101 The Regal will kick the TL's ass!
