  • Can you do a hollow point video? or are they illegal?

  • @1337ASM see part 5 of 12 in my vids

  • Nice video's good to see somebody do some gel block test with the X39 factory and reloaded ammo. There is a lot of discussion on various boards as to the effectiveness of the V-MAX as a SD rd. and if over penetration would be an issue. I think not and the wound channel would be even more impressive than the steel jacketed HP. You mentioned in the video the Wolf HP 123 gr. was that the Wolf Black Box ammo?the Wolf MC camo box is suppose to carry the 8M3 bullets and have better expansion.

  • It was black box wolf. I think any quality HP or SP is a good SD round but a frangable round is best. Did not know that the MC bullet was any better. however I did know the overall quality was better than black box, good to know. Thanks

  • Just curious on the X39 SP reload what bullet you were using and what MV was it loaded to. Do you have any plans to test the new Hornady V-MAX in 7.62 x 39 or purchase the component bullet and load your own test rds.

  • about 2300fps,we hope to do some more soon and I'll keep that round in mind!!

  • @rhsikes Hornady V-max would do very well for defense.

  • @TheAK47nut I'm wanting a block of gelatin for my desk with either a 7.62x39 in it or just a block with the wound track from that caliber! Thanks!

  • It would be nice to see some gel test with the 5.45x39 round. Do you have any plans to do a test like that?

  • I'd love to see this on the Wolf MC 124gr JHP. (The old stuff that is laquer cased and has sealer at the neck and primer)
