There's a lot more to this. I got overwhelmed with the amount of peculiarity there is to this case. It's very sad. And incredibly it seems like many of the politicians were in on it. They gave Jim Jones credence right to the very end. The were not considered a cult until close to the very time they all were massacred in Guyana. They were considered a group of people who were activists and wanted to work together to make the world better. The were also well liked by the Guyanese government at that time which had just won it's independence in 1966. Also jonestown was on a piece of land that Venezuela was saying was their's. A man who was a Jesuit priest, Andrew Morrison was the one who propagated many of the crazy stories we now read about in regards to the People's temple. The jesuits didnt like People's Temple for many reasons. They were like a thorn in the side of the CIA and MI6 in that area. And Congressman's findings were about to be published back in California. the truth was, none of the relatives cited by "concerned relatives" wanted to leave Jonestown. There very well may have been orgs like the cia involved but Jones was still a false profit.Howeever,Id like to know more about the involvment of the cia if infact they were involved.And what do you mean that they did'nt committ suicde? I heard the tapes of jones saying that they had to take the poison. And he said that he'd rather liedown his life ratherther than have anyone else take it. He committed suicide and for the most part the others were murders----espeacially of small chidren.

I want to know so bad how such intellgent people get caught up in a cult especially one such as this one.Some of them tried to get out at the last minute. I had a family memeber who died in this. She even gave up all of her money and her home and left her kids behind.

I do think Dwyer went back that night. On the tape JJones said his name about a minute before we know the "red brigade" had returned. Imo, Dwyer was part of this plan. He was working at the US embassy in Guyana and was a friend to JJones, or so I've read. Seems that is true. The only person that could have sent out that message would have been Dwyer himself.
