When I told my dad before an impending visit that we're vegetarian, he said "No prob, your stepmom's the cook, & she's veg. I only eat meat at restaurants."
First day they put a special feast for us...a crabfest. Big bowls of melted butter, 100 steamed crabs.
To my query "I thought you were veg?"
"Oh. Yeah. I am. I just eat seafood. And chicken only once in a while. I hardly ever, ever, eat beef."
Sadly, this woman is a teacher. Sheeeeesh.

for the record, 1 cup corn flakes? as in.. the cereal? also, if it is corn flakes, will my tofu taste like corn flakes?

Hi,
you're welcome. There are vegetarian alternatives at organic grocery stores. But you can also use regular spices like paprika, pepper, salt and rosemary. Whatever suits you.

2) Yes, of course. Just be creative with spices. I didn't have it at that moment but poultry seasoning tastes great with tofu.

I don't know. Maybe you can try different brands. If it's not organic, try organic tofu.
