@chindleymuffin actually, Ridley Scott said there wouldn't be traditional 'alien' xenomorphs - which is to be expected as the zenomorphs in prometheus are bred in another alien race, they're supposed to be the 'originals' and that we will recognise them when we see them, they're supposed to be much larger as well!

@colliric I've got the Alien special edition and on the commentary Ridley Scott said that he believed that the Alien ship was a carrier for the eggs, and that the Alien was perhaps a genetically engineered bio weapon. The space Jockey was fossilised meaning that it and the eggs had been on Acheron a very long time, humans were probably still evolving on Earth when that ship crashed. So I don't believe humans had anything to do with their creation.

I'm really starting to believe Scott is going to retcon but also adapt that particular story arc. He's never been a fan of later Alien Canon... especially Cameron's addition of the Queen. It will probably take parts of that original story and give it the "Rise of The Planet of The Apes" Retcon-prequel treatment.

@colliric ....5'th story is called THE ALIEN and is about humans coming in contact and docking with the Alien ( cargo transport ) Ship, thats carrying a cargo of Alien eggs, and the lone Space Jockey pilot, heading to another planet to transplant the aliens to.
