@Argull89: The one in the front is from dixon I guess.
But for the cable-hat I bought the pearl drop clutch which is perfectly adjustable.
The cable hat came with a drop clutch from DW which is horrible and features a 1mm gap.
I would recommend the one from pearl which is well manufactured and has no gap (it can even be adjusted)!
what model is that 12x7 snare? and how much is it?

@JCustomZ: It was a special edition and it was 99€.
You only get horrible crap for 120€ and below if it isn´t for special editions.

Nice video.
What head would you recommend me for a Cherry/Maple Black Panther snare 13"x6" (or 5,5" not sure) ? For a open sound, but not too choked.
Thanks a lot!

@jeremyspokeinclass:
It´s a matter of taste - but I like the most regular snare heads:
REMO Ambassador coated on top
REMO Ambassador Snare on bottom

would you recomend birch or maple for a kit ?

@cFcIOnFiRe: It´s all just a matter of taste!
I like maple because it´s a bit warmer - but birch has got a nice open character.
Check out TAMA´s BB (birch/bubinga) - it´s not very expensive but has a great tone with a dry fundamental and lots of "air".
I´ve been recording a Tama BB a month ago and I really like it!
