  • Wow. What a sharp performance. The conductor (what's his name?) looks like he's having a ball.

  • i would have a ball too if i had to conduct a chorus and orchestra like this.

  • Excelente versión con instrumentos modernos. Bravo por el coro, aunque se hubieran podido esmerar un poco más en la pronunciación.

  • I loved that contrabass!!!

  • wow!!! I think that this one is the best choir area of the whole mass! I can see clearly how much they love it!! Great!

  • I have watched this 6 times now in rapid succession - it just doesn't get any better. This is the best performance of this incredibly joyous and powerful chorus - you can almost see the whole choir starting to dance with joy in the last minute of the performance. They love the music, and it shows. The conductor is just great, and an inspiration in everything being played and voiced.

  • Wow! What an electrifying and inspirational performance. It's a very difficult piece even for a "professional" choir to perform crisply. This was the right tempo and the right instrumentation, especially with the "D" trumpets, and the boys' voices. Bach would have had all male choirs in his day, as this was the norm. The boys, and the rest of the choir love this music and FEEL the strength and joy in it. You can see their love of the music in their facial expressions. Superb, absolutely great.

  • Love the boy's expressions.

  • the right Tempo, right performers, right place! SUPER! the best edition on YT!

  • Wer ein derartiges Ereignis mit seinen Sinnen aufnimmt und erfaßt,der spürt wie gewaltig Musik sein kann.

Wenn Komponist und Ausführende in solcher Form quasi verschmelzen, dann entsteht

    GROSSARTIGES.
