http://www.ted.com After he swam the North Pole, Lewis Pugh vowed never to take another cold-water dip. Then, he heard of Mt. Everest's Lake Imja -- a body of water at an altitude of 5,300 meters, entirely created by recent glacial melting -- and began a journey that would teach him a radical new way to approach both swimming and think about climate change.

  • Mt. Everest, Lake Imja, Lake Khumbu, Glacial Melting, Sherpas, Yaks & not a single utterance of the country which contains all the above & where you performed your little adventure. You did mention China in the north, India in the south and Bangladesh in the East but what about the country where you landed to trek up to 5,300 meters & which is right in the middle with 30M people residing in it. Outbursts of these glacial lakes can sweep this population in hrs. BTW the country is Nepal.

  • Everyone negative please shut the fuck up. Thanks :D
