  • wtf at 1:58, who uses a shotgun in a hostage situation? even if your firing slug, why would you do that?

  • They are taught to not put their long gun on the ground. That is why they have slings.

  • @phillifancmcg

    hehe it's called collateral damage!

  • LEEEEEEEEEEAN into that weapon TROOP!

  • @mrdavies09 That's precisely what I thought. I don't get it.

  • FWIW, I remember seeing something on the tube a long time ago about a cop to had to take out a criminal with a shotgun(hostage situation, criminal holding hostage in front w/ gun to hostages head). The cop determined he had to take a head shot because anything else risked the criminals hand jerking and pulling the trigger on the gun pointed at the hostages head. He made the shot, and the hostage survived

  • 1:59 Great idea genius... use a shot gun to snipe a hostage taker... really smart.

  • in hostage situations they use slugs. and to breach doors. and they have a certain "shit your pants" factor when your looking down the barrel of one

  • Ohhh i love the pumping sound

  • At 1:58 they're firing at one of the hostage targets. Who would use a shotgun for hostage situations?! Even with a narrow choke the spread of pellets will still probably hit the hostage.

  • Who's going to take that shot in reality?

  • 0.15 & 0.18 were instructors there. They are the only ones who have sidearms on and have the camo BDUs. The bigger guy is such a fanactic about his shotgun. If he brought out his benelli like he did at our training and showed off what he could do. Sometimes I think some instructors need to focus on instruction and not showing off their toys or gear.
