John Kerry Calls U.S. Credit Change: The Tea Party Downgrade

Later in the interview, Sen. Kerry accused Speaker John Boehner of "politicizing" the downgrade in his statement following S&P's announcement of the downgrade.

"Let's get rid of the hard positions that i noticed even in Speaker Boehner's comments about the downgrade, politicizing it in the sense of sort of blaming it on the Democrats and lack of positions. Barack Obama put a $4.7 trillion deal on the table. Three times he was refused that deal! Because there were some people in the Republican Party, and Mitch McConnell even admitted this, who wanted to default. He said there were people in the party willing to shoot the hostage. In the end, they found the hostage was worth ransoming. It's not about ransom. it's about our nation, our country, statesmanship. I know John McCain and many of his colleagues in the Senate are willing to sit down and be serious about how to deal with this quickly. Our nation's security and future is at stake."

@thenewmike2012 Promising a tax cut to hire an employee which will cost employer MORE overall then reward of end of year tax break makes sense to you?

Obama & people working for him NEVER ran a business, the idea that corps will hire employee because it's the right thing to do despite it will cost them more is insane.

Oregon got 1.5 million to incentivize farmers to grow more berries & trees. Farmers were happy to take their money & continue to grow more product because there was demand!

@thenewmike2012 Tax cuts for hiring people wont work Mike! There has to be a DEMAND for their labors & at this point consumer confidence is so low there is NO DEMAND! Farmers are paid to grow crops they would grow anyway at expense to taxpayers. Does that make sense to you? If it doesn't neither should bribing corps to do something if there is NO DEMAND for as if they could sustain the new hires!.

They won't hire because Obama has MANY agendas that conflict with profit generation anyway!

@thenewmike2012 I dont need tax cuts to hire people, I need CUSTOMERS. The democrats falsely believe they need to pay farmers to grow crops, subsidizing corn for example putting peasant Mexican farmers out of biz forcing them to come here illegaly to take jobs. I use to have 17 employees I'm down to 6 trust me you dont bailout companies or bribe them to do something they would do anyway if there was a demand. Consumers need more relief & incentive.

@thenewmike2012 Yes I did, they are NOT starting new businesses or growing their existing business because nobody knows what Obama is going to shove down their throats next. Cap & trade, Obamacare, bailouts, redistribution of wealth, debt growth "FUTURE TAX" etc..

Like I said if Buffet wants to pay more he should he is a financier not a manufacturer who creates real jobs. I want what is still left to stay, Obama is not creating a environment friendly to supporting job creation.
