Yeh i sort of see your point i guess we just have different points of view on this. It just pisses me off if you go see a musician whos had a lot of big songs in the past and they insist on playing new shit. Its like bob dylan you know what i mean me and my brother went to see him live about 5 years ago at manchester m.e.n. arena and he was just terrible had his back to the crowd all the way through it and had no interaction with the crowd whatsoever.

Am i alone in thinking this was a poor bowie performance. I was there and got bored after listening to a hour of new jungle/tin machine shit you know what i mean if your going to see bowie you expect to hear all the old classics like station to station, absolute beginners, china girl, the man who sold the world, starman, ashes to ashes. He performed none of these during this performance but when is saw him live at glastonbury festival in 2000 he eprformed them all maybe it was just a phase.

No, you are not alone but I disagree with you wholeheartedly. Some of Bowie's best work was off Earthling and outside. Bowie-Gabrels-Dorsy-Alford-Garson. The band kicks ass. 90s techno-Bowie is as much an about face as Young Americans and Low were. His voice here is good bartione and --- thank the Lord --- nothing from Let's Dance. If I want to hear China Girl, I can tune into top 40 cheesy radio and hear that between Bon Jovi and Celine Dion.

The hearts filthy lessons is one of his best songs in my opinion. Bowie forever!
