Shame on u @greenerteach for not understanding the modern farming, do u know what "patent" mean? Companies like Monsanto have patented the seed by doing so its killing the food source and they have no rights just to do so and even if u do manipulate the gene for better sustainability u can't patent and kill the farmers and their food source ... To be Organic you need to thk organic and to thk organic u shld eat organic, grow up before u can be called "green" ....

@greenerteach with a name like @greenerteach i can only assume you r here to teach the world about Green. I am a farmer too; i was once an organic farmer as well. I quit organic farming because of the mycotoxin and pathogenic fungi issues involved with organics. It has been researched extensively... science does not usually work to prove theories but it works to disprove theories. The objective evidence on organics points us to believe that organics can actually b less healthy than conv.

excuse me, but I think she really knows a lot more than most do. She is speaking for her country and I, as an organic farmer who has worked in third world countries, believe she is spot on - if she gets money for the third world, that's fine. But she's not a fraud.
